“I’ve kind of blown my social capital wad, so I don’t know if it’s possible at this time. But maybe. Maybe in the future people will learn to forgive me.”
One of the biggest of the many pre-election October Surprises last year was Colby Keller’s embrace of the then candidate Trump. The social media repercussions came immediately. And when we last checked in February (see original post below), no one was ready to let him out of the dog house.
Clearly, his initial attempt to diffuse the drama didn’t go well.
And now, he’s trying it again in a sit down with vlogger Chris Baker who gave him an attempt to “clarify” things.”
“I think the problem is that I don’t support Trump,” Keller says. ” I did vote for Trump. That’s the distinction.”
Actually, Colby, I don’t that’s the problem at all. What you are calling a “distinction” is nothing more than a distraction and not any more effective now than when you tried in February.
After all, the guy you voted for tweeted this during the campaign
Thank you to the LGBT community! I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.

Hope you like the food in the dog house, Colby, because Hamburger Mary’s ain’t giving you your booth back anytime soon.

We all know by now Colby Keller supported someone the rest of us find somewhere between”exceptionally vile” and “viscerally repugnant.” He’s now tried to “‘splain Lucy” his way out of and just dug himself in deeper.
When we first ran this post three weeks ago (see the original below), I asked if we were still mad at Colby Keller. As you can see from the comments below, the answer was a resounding yes. Though I posed it as an open question, those sentiments are shared by this author.

In a nutshell, Colby’s explanation is that he “isn’t a Republican; he’s a communist who loathes the Democratic party” and wants supports DJT’s mission and “burn the whole system down.”
“The Democratic Party’s diabolical politics don’t serve the interests of the American people and that’s why [Trump voters] acted out,” he says, adding, “It’s going to take someone like Donald Trump to get people to overthrow the system.
Hillary Clinton would have been four more years of Barack Obama, continuing all of the horrible neoliberal policies of the Bush administration and of her husband — policies that have bankrupted the American people and people around the world.” ~Colby Keller
Blum concluded, “At times, Keller sounds like he wants to egg on the Apocalypse in the hopes that society will build something really nice from the rubble.”
Sorry, Colby, the only thing nice to come out of Rubble was Bam Bam.
